Previously people knew only HRD Delhi for the attestation now this is no more existing and has been closed on 29th June 2007. Now the work has been distributed to each state’s Home Departments. There are two types of certificates, first being the educational certificates & second being the non educational certificates.

Procedure

Oman is a member of Hague Convention. So it is necessary to follow the Authentication procedure. All the document intended to use in Oman requires Apostille.

The procedures to get a Certificate Authenticated from India
Authentication / legalization of certificates is required for Oman Employment Visa. Apostille stamp needs to be obtained in order to get a job in Oman. Oman Authentication includes SDM(Sub divisional Magistrate) + Apostille.
